Next week in Emmerdale, Jacob Gallagher's lies about his relationship with Liv Flaherty begin to unravel, landing both him and Maya Stepney in a tricky situation.

Leanne Cavanagh and Noah Dingle's mischief making takes a turn for the sinister when they rope in Amelia Spencer and break into Dale Head. Daz Eden is still basking in the glory of his new job, but feels as though things might be going in a rather odd direction with new boss Trish, and Brenda Walker and Bob Hope are back on good terms.

Does this mean what the twins hope it means?

And now let's recap on what's coming up this week...

Having convinced Leyla Harding round to their art forgery plan, Frank Clayton and Clive set the wheels in motion, using Megan Macey's car to transport the fake work. Leyla offers to be their getaway driver – but when she finds out that Clive's real plan is to stitch Frank up and leave the country, she's torn. Will her conscience lose her the man she loves?

Still unhappy with her dad's relationship with Bernice Blackstock, Leanna Cavanagh and Gabby Thomas plot to break the couple up. Gabby drops into conversation that Bernice is looking for commitment, leaving Liam Cavanagh feeling slightly uneasy. Showing up later to the Woolpack in a ridiculous ball gown, it dawns on Bernice that she's been stitched up by the girls. Angry and upset, she confronts Leanne and Gabby.

As Marlon Dingle and April Windsor decorate the Christmas tree, an over-excitable April begins to talk about falling in love. The conversation sparks an idea in Marlon's head and he surprises a returning Jessie with fairy lights spelling out "I love you".

The gesture throws Jessie Grant and she leaves in a rush. Marlon is crestfallen, but later Jessie explains she never really moved on from her first husband and Marlon agrees to help scatter his ashes in order to find closure. Will Jessie reciprocate Marlon's gesture by telling him "I love you" too?
