In next week's Emmerdale, Paddy Kirk's attempt an reconnecting with Chas Dingle turns nasty when the couple end up arguing. And with Jimmy King and Aaron Dingle both away, Nicola King and Robert Sugden devise a plan to fix both of their money worries. But let's recap on this week in Emmerdale.

Aware of his bad reputation, Diane Willis and Matty Barton are anxious as Victoria meets up with Leon, the drayman, for the second time. Unimpressed with their interference and aware she's being watched, Victoria Barton flirts with Leon to make a point. Matty and Diane try to intervene but a defiant Victoria leaves with him.

Maya Cavanagh is less than impressed when she receives flowers past their best from David for her birthday. She's even more upset when Jacob Gallagher tells her that David Metcalfe is with Tracy Metcalfe, and that's why he's late for her birthday meal. It's clear there is still resentment brewing.

Meanwhile, Brenda Walker tells Doug Potts she has no intention of getting back together with Bob Hope and it'd be better if he left. Outside on the stairs, Bob has heard every word.

Clive's interest is piqued when Eric Pollard talks about an art exhibition opening tomorrow. Frank Clayton becomes suspicious of his keen interest and is intrigued to know what Clive is planning. At the gallery, Frank is sure that Clive is up to something. Knowing of his criminal past, he's sure it's nothing wholesome....

Pollard spots a buyer he knows called Eleanor Samson. Clive tells Frank that Eleanor is his mark and explains his plan to sell her a fake painting. Frank is gobsmacked.
