Coronation Street spoilers: Shona Ramsay makes a move on David Platt

With Shona Ramsay back in Weatherfield staying with Roy Cropper, David is hopeful that they can reconcile their relationship.

But when Shona decides to give him a chance and invites him over for pizza, David is caught off guard when she comes on a little strong and, embarrassed, Shona kicks him out.

Meanwhile, Seb Franklin tells Alina Pop that he still has feelings for her, but wanting to spare Emma Brooke's feelings, Alina says they can only be friends.

Carla Connor asks Pete Barton where he was the night of a recent assault and Leanne Battersby takes Oliver Battersby to the petting zoo.

Shona is getting settled in Roy's flat with the help of her new social worker, Aaron, when a spirited David swings by with some magazines.

But David is in for a shock when Aaron sombrely explains that it's important for Shona to have a routine and things won't go back to normal immediately.

Elsewhere, Seb plucks up the courage to tell Alina that he never stopped having feelings for her and goes in for the kill with flowers.

But the moment is ruined when Emma arrives at the flat and Seb struggles to explain the flowers. Later, Alina tells Seb she can only be mates to spare Emma's feelings.

Later on in the week Seb and Alina meet up for a "friendly" drink but it's clear they're struggling to fight their feelings. Back at home, Emma has an accident with the washing up, injuring her hand.

Tracy and Steve check in on Leanne and Oliver and Tracy convinces her that it would be a good idea to have a family day out to keep a semblance of normality.

Leanna and Nick agree to a day at the petting zoo and when Oliver sees a cow and giggles, Leanne is overjoyed to see a flicker of the old Oliver back.

Meanwhile, Carla thanks Abi and Scott for getting rid of Chelsey and Jordan while she decorates the Rover's Return for their VE day celebrations.

But when she spies a news article about an assault on the Brightwell estate she wonders if it was them and confronts Peter about where he was on that night.

After his night with Nicky, Daniel is conflicted and meets with her in a hotel to tell her it was a mistake and that he still loves Sinead.

Gemma meets with Shona and tells her all about how great her relationship with David was before the accident, so Shona invites him over for a pizza.

As they chat, David realises the gravity of the situation when she admits she doesn't remember him or their relationship, but things seem to be going well anyway.

But when Shona goes in for a kiss and declares that they should have sex, David is shocked and an embarrassed Shona kicks him out immediately.
