Leanne and Toyah Battersby are two of the most beloved characters on Coronation Street - but they don't half get themselves into some right pickles. The step-sisters, who arrived together on the soap over two decades ago in 1997, have already faced a rollercoaster throughout the last year, but things aren't set to slow down for the pair anytime soon.

After Toyah's desperate attempts to have a baby with Leanne's ex-husband Peter Barlow fell through, she tried to pass off Leanne's half-sister Eva Price's baby Susie as her own - but when Eva took the baby back, Peter couldn't forgive Toyah for her monstrous lie. P.S SPOILER ALERT! SPOILERS AHEAD!

They parted ways earlier this year - and it looks as though Peter could be set to get back with his ex, Carla Connor. But show bosses have now revealed that Toyah is set to begin a relationship with Imran Habeeb.

Trying to put her recent drama in the past and move on from it, Toyah will go on some dates with Imran, who is in the middle of divorcing his wife, Sabine.

However - this comes just after Imran starts sleeping with Leanne, who has been working as his PA.

Although they're not apparently interested in having a relationship with each other, Imran and Leanne's chemistry has certainly been hotting up over the past few weeks - and that will, of course - in true soap style - mean they end up in bed together. Various times.

Naughty Imran will keep dating both Battersby women - a pretty silly idea, considering they're well-known for being two of the most formidable and fierce women on the cobbles.

Let's wait and see what happens.

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
