Coronation Street has seen plenty of former stars return over the last few weeks - Lewis Archer, played by Nigel Havers, Ben Price's Nick Tilsley, and of course, Charles Lawson will be making his comeback as Jim McDonald in the coming weeks.

However, there's one other Corrie legend who's got his eye on a return to Weatherfield - Kevin Kennedy, who played Norman 'Curly' Watts, spoke out in an interview with Rochelle Humes on Lorraine this morning (28th August).

After 15 years away, Kevin - who starred on the soap from 1983 until 2003 - would love to go back to the cobbles, revealing that his character's return could cause a bit of a shake-up.

Kevin, whose character Curly is well-remembered for his relationship with Raquel Wolstenhulme (played by Sarah Lancashire), said that although he hasn't been asked, he'd love to go back.

He said, "I would say I'd love to. Curly was such a multi-faceted character, I think he had lots of stories to tell then and I think he would be even more interesting if he came back with some tales to tell.

"I mean, did he see Raquel again? What happened to his daughter and his son Ben?"

VERY good question, Kevin.
