Rihanna Matches Elvis Presley US Chart Record

'The Monster' is her 25th Billboard Top 10 hit Stateside

Rihanna has matched an American chart milestone set by the late-great Elvis Presley!

The Bajan singer’s Eminem collaboration ‘The Monster’ climbed to no.3 on the Billboard Hot 100 yesterday earning RiRi her 25th Top 10 smash hit.

That remarkable tally in the US matches the landmark set by the King of Rock and Roll himself - Elvis Presley.

Even more impressive, Rihanna has hit the 25th Top 10 target in just eight years and four months, making her the fastest female by three months ahead of Madonna.

However, despite her significant achievements, Rihanna still has a long way to go to match the 38 Top 10 singles Madonna has scored Stateside over her career.

The Beatles are in second spot with 34 Top 10s and Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder are tied in third with 28.

Elvis Presley would be higher on the list had the Billboard Chart existed at the start of his career!

Prior to its inception in 1958, Elvis scored 12 Top 10 hits on the preceding Hot 100 chart. If you combined the two charts’ tallies he’d have 37 Top 10s narrowly behind Madonna.
