They're creating musical magic together once again

One Direction’s Niall Horan has been creating musical alchemy with his good friends from McFly once again.

Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter co-wrote the song ‘Don't Forget Where You Belong with Niall on 1D’s 2013 album ‘Midnight Memories’ and this week the foursome are making sweet music again!

Confirming the collaboration on Twitter yesterday evening, Niall wrote: “Last night I wrote a song with @Dannymcfly @dougiemcfly and @tommcfly , dougie went home, tom got peed on by his son, me and danny had curry.”

Then in the early hours of this morning, Niall revealed that they’ve been working on more than one track. He added:

Danny Jones’ fiancée, former Miss England Georgia Horsley, later posted a pic of Niall and Danny at the piano in the early hours.

Last week Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne broke the news that they’ve been working with US pop-punk band Good Charlotte on 1D’s new album.

Irish band Kodaline also confirmed they were working with Harry Styles on new music. "In the studio with Harry Styles in LA writing a tune, sounds massive," they Tweeted.

One Direction’s fourth studio album is likely to be released this autumn.

Speaking to Entertainment NOW! last month, Louis said he hoped the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Midnight Memories’ will be “different.”

He said: “We’ve only just started writing it so we haven’t really got a clear idea of exactly how it’s gonna be, but (it will be) a similar vein to ‘Midnight Memories’, our last album, but we’re going to try something slightly different.”
