Singer Michael Bublé has been away from the spotlight over the past couple of years, taking care of his son, Noah, who was devastatingly diagnosed with cancer in November 2016. Thankfully, Noah has recovered from the illness - and Michael is back on the scene.

The 42-year-old, whose last album 'Nobody But Me' was released in October 2016, has taken to Twitter to reveal to his fans that he's back in the studio and recording brand new music.

Although Michael hasn't yet revealed any more details about the upcoming record, fans have gone wild for the announcement, with tens of thousands of people replying to his tweet with excited posts of their own.

Many fans were overjoyed - not only at the news of a brand new Bublé record, but also because they took this as confirmation that little Noah was much improved.

Michael and his wife Luisana Lopilato, an Argentinian singer and actress, shied away from the public eye after Noah, at the time aged three, was diagnosed with cancer.

After receiving treatment, the little boy was thought to have recovered after Luisana's family made comments to the Spanish media - but it was Michael's appearance at the Juno Awards in his native Canada in March this year that proved the family was back on track.

Not only did Michael reveal that his son had recovered - he also used the platform to confirm that his wife was pregnant with their third child.
