Lawson have announced details of a brand new track, ‘Brokenhearted’, featuring Midas-touched rapper B.o.B.

Released on Sunday 7th July (and available to pre-order from 15th May), ‘Brokenhearted’ was written by lead singer Andy Brown and recorded in London.

Andy said of the song: “Brokenhearted is definitely a bit of a turning point for us as a band. It’s my favourite song we have recorded to date.

“It was a dream to get B.o.B on the track. The whole band are huge fans of his. He really took the song to the next level and we had a great time shooting the video with him.”

Lawson will be hoping ‘Brokenhearted’ matches the success of B.o.B’s other big name collaborations.

In 2010 B.o.B, real name Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., stormed to number one when he drafted in Bruno Mars on ‘Nothin On You’ and Paramore’s Hayley Williams on ‘Airplanes’.

A year later he guested on Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag’, scoring another massive chart-topper and the fourth biggest-selling song of 2011.
