Aussie pop goddess Kylie Minogue has unveiled the stop-motion lyric video to her dubstep-tastic new song ‘Skirt’.

A scintillating return to the fray, ‘Skirt’ was co-written by The-Dream (the man behind Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ and Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’) and produced by the critically acclaimed Nom de Strip.

The lyric video is backed by a series of images of 45-year-old Kylie looking resplendent on a wooden floor.

Lifted from Kylie’s upcoming 12th album, ‘Skirt’ is the first song to be unleashed since Kylie signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation earlier this year.

Kylie told Nowness shortly after penning the deal: "Joining the Roc family has been an exciting whirlwind. I've had the opportunity to work with some producers who have been on my wish list for a number of years so it's amazing!

"Roc Nation is such a dynamic company, combining many years of experience with a hungry young team. It makes for fireworks and I think that will be heard in the music."
