Norwegian DJ Kygo has been announced as a performer at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert and laureate serenade.

The event will take place in Oslo on the 10th December where the tropical house DJ will perform a number of songs. Also featured on the line up are Norwegian band a-Ha, famous for hits like 'Take On Me' and 'The Sun Always Shines on TV'.

The 24-year-old DJ will also perform an acoustic version of his top ten hit 'Firestone'. This will take place outside the Grand Hotel Oslo at the end of the annual Torch Parade honouring this year's laureate - the National Dialogue Quartet.

Kygo said, “I am proud to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. And even more so when I see the other artists confirmed for the concert.”

Earlier this year Kygo recorded an acoustic version of his single 'Firestone' with him on piano, featuring singer Conrad Sewell, at a recording studio in Stockholm.
