Justin Bieber's Monkey Leaves Quarantine

Mally will be introduced to fellow capuchin monkeys in Germany

Justin Bieber’s adorable former pet monkey, Mally, has left quarantine in Germany after three months in isolation.

The Canadian pop star brought the capuchin monkey to Germany back in March, however custom officials seized Mally when Bieber failed to produce the relevant vaccination papers.

The pop star had travelled to the country from Los Angeles with Mally aboard his private jet ahead of a Believe tour show.

Mally spent the first two months at a Munich animal shelter but was moved to Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen in May. He is now owned by the German state.

After a quarter of a year alone, zookeepers are now preparing to introduce six-month old Mally to fellow capuchin monkeys at the park. Zoo manager Fabrizio Sepe said: "Mally is a clever little guy and we're confident that he will settle in quickly."
