Christina Aguilera For Hunger Games: Catching Fire Soundtrack

Christina Aguilera has recorded a song for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.

Titled ‘We Remain’, the song joins Coldplay’s ‘Atlas’ and indie band The National’s ‘Lean’ on the second instalment of the movie franchise.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Christina told her 9million followers: “Love the underlying message of @TheHungerGames. "We Remain" is special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike.”

Artists including Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Birdy, Miranda Lambert and Arcade Fire all appeared on the critically acclaimed soundtrack to the first Hunger Games film.

Taylor Swift’s collaboration with The Civil Wars, ‘Safe & Sound’, was nominated for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 2013 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits UK cinema screens on Friday 22nd November.
