Calvin Harris has announced he’ll be unveiling brand new material next Friday.

In a very short post on his Twitter page last night, the superstar DJ, artist and songwriter told his 3.8million followers: “New music from me on 14th March.”

Calvin has previously revealed there are a number of singles in the pipeline and he’s hoping to get a big name artist on board for one of the tracks.

The fresh music will be Calvin’s first solo release since the Top 10 single ‘Thinking About You’ last August.

That single was the eighth track to be released from his chart-topping third album ’18 Months’, which also spawned the singles ‘Bounce’, ‘Feel So Close’ and ‘Let’s Go’.

Back in January, Calvin’s girlfriend Rita Ora confirmed they’ll be releasing the collaboration 'I Will Never Let You Down' as the first single from her second album.

According to Forbes magazine, Harris was the highest paid DJ of 2013 raking in an estimated $46million mainly thanks to his residency at MGM Grand's Hakkasan nightclub in Las Vegas.
