Will she match the huge success of 21?!

Adele’s eagerly awaited third studio album is reportedly ‘written, recorded and finished’!

Strongly rumoured to be titled ‘25’ in keeping with her first two albums ‘19’ and ‘21’, Adele has worked with Ryan Tedder, James Ford, Kid Harpoon and Paul Epworth on the album.

According to a ‘source’ quoted by the Daily Star, Adele could follow in the footsteps of Beyoncé and David Bowie by surprise releasing the album any time soon.

“The album is written, recorded and finished. Theoretically it could be released tomorrow if she wanted,” the close Adele source said.

"The plan is to release internationally on iTunes as a complete surprise without any previous promotion or build-up publicity campaign.

“The shock tactics worked amazingly well for Beyoncé and the feeling is Adele's new album is so widely anticipated it doesn't need a long promotional build-up."

Back in early May on the eve of her 26th Birthday, Adele posted this photo and strongly hinted that her third album is called ‘25’.

Adele’s critically acclaimed 2011 album ‘21’ has sold more than 26.4million copies to date making it one of the successful records of all time.

The best selling record of both 2011 and 2012 globally, ‘21’ almost single-handedly reversed the decline of album sales in both the UK and US.

It also helped boost the bank balance of Adele’s label XL Recordings from £3million to £32million in the space of just one year.
