Only The Young split - and argue over the reason for it
The split had apparently been planned for a while
Only The Young, who were finalists on The X Factor, have split up – but it’s not clear why.
It started when Paris Tarjomani announced on a blog she was leaving, suggesting she wasn’t happy working with the group anymore.
She wrote “during these past three years I have really grown up. I have learnt that you sometimes have to move on when things no longer make you happy”.
She added that performing and meeting the fans became the only bonus for her, but ended the message wishing her former band members ‘every success’.
But according to colleague Betsy-Blue English, that’s not how it happened. The singer said the fans needed to know the ‘truth’ and said the band had been planning to split up for a while.
She added that they'd all been deciding what to do and that it wasn't a case of one person deciding to leave.
However on the band's official page there was no mention of the dispute.
The band formed in 2012 and came in seventh place in The X Factor in 2014.
