WATCH: Zayn debuts new song about Perrie
The singer performed on The Tonight Show.
Zayn Malik debuted a new song from his debut album on The Tonight Show in America and it appeared to be all about his ex Perrie Edwards.
In his first television appearance since splitting from One Direction, the pop heartthrob performed album track “It’s You” which was reportedly written about ex fiancé Perrie Edwards.
Zayn donned a black jacket as his perfect vocals sung the soulful sounding song with the lyrics “I looked at it like a blessing and now it’s just a curse.”

When discussing his new song in a recent interview Zayn claimed “There’s a song on the record called It’s You which is to me I can tell a real centre-piece for the album. Vocally, certainly” before going on to say “it’s about the break-up of your relationship, clearly.”
The ‘Pillowtalk’ singer also debuted one of the cutest album covers ever as show host Jimmy Fallen held a copy of the album’ Mind of Mine’, to which Zayn then shared on his Instagram account.
Zayn’s debut album is set for release in March.
