WATCH: Two drunk Aussies foiled a robbery and gave a hilarious interview

Two Aussies were on their way back from a night out when they came across a robbery in progress.

With a bit of Dutch courage and the reflexes of a ninja James Ross-Monroe reaches into the car and takes the keys out of the ignition rendering the getaway car useless, meanwhile his friend Kane Wiblen is filming everything.

When the robber returns to the car to find the keys are gone he quickly makes a getaway by running down the road, with James giving chase - shirtless and shoeless.

After posting the original video on YouTube the pair have become unlikely heroes in Australia landing themselves an interview with the morning TV show, Today where they gave a hilarious account of what happened.

The video has now received over three million views across social media and you can watch it in full above.
