Sam Smith spoke to Jo Parkerson about his throat surgery and his battle with food.
Back in May Sam had surgery on his vocal cords and was forced to cancel some tour dates.
Speaking to Jo he told her his throat surgery was the best thing that has happened to him. "I feel like I've been gifted with time" he explained, "I got to stop for a month and rest and become normal again".
When it comes to his health he revealed that has given up yoga to concentrate on his diet. After his three-stone weight loss he will always have a battle with food and he said he "still loves fried chicken and cheese" and will have it as a treat once a week.
