Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke
A pulsating new trailer for Terminator Genisys has been unleashed today!
Revealing far more about the plot than the previous trailer, it follows the story of leader of the human resistance John Connor (Jason Clarke) who sends volunteer Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time to 1984 – when the first movie was set – to protect his mother Sarah Connor (Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke).
As we see in the trailer, Kyle finds that the original past has been changed – Sarah has in fact been brought up by a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who is programmed to protect her.
Complicating things further, alongside the T-1000 (Lee Byung-hun) sent to kill Sarah Connor, her son John has been transformed into a human/cyborg hybrid. Mind-boggling stuff!
Set to hit UK cinemas this July, Terminator Genisys also stars J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Matthew Smith and Courtney B. Vance.
