WATCH: One Starbucks employee took customer service to the next level

Starbucks barista Katie Wyble used sign language to take a drive-thru order.

When Starbucks drive-thru customer Rebecca King arrived at the order point barista Katie Wyble recognised the regular customer who was deaf and switched her web cam on.

Rebecca was then able to communicate via sign language to place her order with Katie.

All of this was captured on camera by Rebecca's passenger and posted on Facebook with the caption, "Starbucks! This is what I'm talking about!"

The video has been online for just two days and has already received 6.3 million views and thousands of shares.

Barista Katie also shared the video saying the system she used was "kind of like Starbucks FaceTime."

Katie explained “I’ve had a passion for sign language since I first saw a teacher use it when I was in preschool, and I’ve studied ASL American Sign Language ever since.”

The St Augustine Starbucks where this was filmed is located near the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind and the assistant store manager said, “people who are deaf feel comfortable here and that’s our goal for all of our customers.”
