The stunt saw Miley dressed in a dark wig, glasses, and frumpy grey suit taking on the role of Janet the reporter. She also added an Australian accent to cover her tracks.
She quizzed a number of people hearing comments such as people not liking her or the rest of her family and rather cuttingly, "I prefer Taylor Swift." OUCH.
Miley took the challenge well and even had some fun with some that she interviewed by inviting them to twerk and sing with her.
Miley will host the VMA's on Sunday 30th August.
