From vacuum cleaners to Christmas trees.

Dyson is generally known for its powerful vacuum cleaners, but recently the engineers have been turning their attention to something a bit more festive.

A video has been released showing Dyson engineers rethinking the traditional Christmas tree and using their everyday technology to make the ball-balls float on a bed of air.

“The tree uses Bernoulli’s principle to suspend baubles at the end of the tree branches." said Will, Senior Fluid Dynamics Engineer.

"We had about a month to create a Christmas tree that no one had attempted before."
