WATCH: Eddie Redmayne and Daniel Radcliffe compare wands
One is smoother...
You could say comparing wands is not the usual type of interview.
However for Natalie from our Ents Team it was a very real interview question when she was joined by the cast from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Natalie travelled to the US to talk to Eddie Redmayne about his role of Newt Scamander in the Harry Potter spin-off and asked him about his wand.
However unbeknownst to Eddie, Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter in the film franchise had previously been asked his thoughts on Eddie's wand. Daniel described Eddie's wand as "smoother" and didn't really like the "shiny end". Going on to say he preferred his which was "rougher".
Eddie responded to this comment saying, "alright Dan, it's mother-of-pearl, it's nothing too sparkly, I'm not getting all bling!"
Then his co-star Katherine Waterston (Porpentina "Tina" Goldstein) chipped in to say she thought "everyone got attached to their own wands".
