Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) first graced the big screen in 2001 as a single, slightly overweight, thirty-something. Fast forward 12 years and she's now forty-something and single again after splitting from her 'happy every after' Mark Darcy.
Getting her life in order she decides to concentrate on her job and friends, so when she discovers she's pregnant it's all a bit of a surprise. After all she isn't quite sure who the father is which makes for an awkward scene at the hospital when she goes for a scan, twice.
Filming for Bridget Jones's Baby started late last year when Renée Zellweger was spotted at Ed Sheeran's Croke Park gig.
Bridget Jones's Baby will be released on 16th September 2016.
