WATCH: 100 drones 'dance' to Beethoven's Symphony No. 9
They performed with a live orchestra.
Drones are pretty much commonplace these days, but getting 100 in one place and getting them to 'perform' with an orchestra isn't.
Guinness World Records have recently released a video of a world record attempt which took place in November 2015 in Germany. The successful attempt saw 100 drones controlled by computer moving in sync to a live performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
Similar to a giant fireworks display 'Drone 100' as it was called was arranged in collaboration with Ars Electronica Futurelab to push the limits of the UAV industry and to show what UAVs can be used for.
