Voting Opens For The Jameson Empire Awards

Calling all film lovers! Voting has now opened for the Jameson Empire Awards 2015!

Unlike fellow major awards ceremonies, the Jameson Empire Awards is voted for solely by the public giving avid cinemagoers the chance to have their say.

!Voters can pick from movies released from 31st January 2014 to 31st January 2015 in a range of categories including Best Male and Female Newcomer, Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Best Thriller, Best British Film, Best Film, Best Comedy, Best Director, Best Actress and the Jameson Best Actor.

With films including Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, The Imitation Game, Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies and Interstellar all in the mix it should be a closely fought contest.

The final shortlist will be announced on Thursday 26th February with the winners unveiled at the Empire Awards ceremony in London on Sunday 29th March.

Last year’s award-winners ranged from Gravity, The Wolf Of Wall Street and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa and The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug.
