Published 8th Sep 2015

One of the biggest events in the television calendar, the TV Choice Awards, took place in London last night and once again it was the truly unstoppable Ant & Dec that dominated!

Despite not being able to attend the glitzy Park Lane Hilton Hotel bash, inseparable duo Ant & Dec scooped three awards - best reality show for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, best entertainment show for Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and best talent show for Britain's Got Talent.

Although it wasn’t a huge hits with critics compared to the first series, gritty ITV crime show Broadchurch also won big claiming the best drama series award and best actor for star David Tennant.

It was the third time Tennant had won the best actor gong having also triumphed in 2013 and 2011.

Other winners on the night included best actress for Sheridan Smith for her portrayal of the late Cilla Black, best new drama for Poldark and best soap for Eastenders.
