Tom Daley announces engagement in traditional way

Diver Tom Daley has announced his engagement to boyfriend of two years, Dustin Lance Black. Instead of taking to social media to make the announcement, they instead placed a notice in the paper.

Dustin is an American screenwriter, director, film and television producer who won an Academy Award for Milk in 2008. Olympic Bronze medal winner Tom first came out to the public on YouTube in December 2013, where he first confirmed he was in a relationship with a man.

Having previously dated women, Tom told fans that he'd met someone, stating "they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. That someone is a guy."

There is a 20 year age gap between the couple, Dustin is 41 and Tom is 21, but they haven't let that deter them.
