Taylor Swift tops the list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities
The UK has two entries in the top 10.
The annual list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities has been released by Forbes and unsurprisingly Taylor Swift has topped the list.
The list, which contains 'front of the camera' stars based on the pretax earnings from 1st June 2015 until 1st June 2016, also includes two UK entries in the top ten with One Direction at number two and the phenomenal Adele at number nine.

Also appearing in the Top 10 are footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, while the other spots are made up of authors, TV personalities and radio hosts.
A few other UK celebrities who have made the full Top 100 list include Calvin Harris (#21), Paul McCartney (#25) and Ed Sheeran (#82); as well as celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey (#34) and Formula One racing car driver Lewis Hamilton (#49).
New UK entries this year include Adele, U2, Muse and Mumford & Sons.
Instagram favourite Kim Kardashian West appears at number 42 on the list after her ever popular game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood made a massive 40% of her annual earnings and has generated $160 million in revenue since its launch in 2014. Kim also appears on the front of Forbes' magazine due for release later this month.
