Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen have announced the first Take That album as a trio – the suitably titled ‘III’.

Set for release on Monday 1st December through Polydor Records, the 12-track album will be preceded by the brand new single ‘These Days’ on 23rd November.

The album marks the first time Take That have written and recorded as a three. Work started at the start of 2014 with the blessing of Jason Orange who confirmed his departure on 24th September.

Gary Barlow said: “We’d been promising our fans for two years now ‘this record’s coming’ and we got to the beginning of the year and we said to Jason ‘listen, we’ve got to start this record.’

“We waited and waited until the last point, and we’re rushing everything now because we finally got a decision and we have to respect that. We want to move forward as a three right now.”

Unlike previous albums that have seen a main producer take the helm, ‘III’ sees Take That join forces with an eclectic array of studio wizards.

Collaborators include Greg Kurstin (Lana Del Rey ‘Ultraviolence’, Katy Perry ‘Prism’), John Shanks (Take That ‘Beautiful World’, ‘The Circus’), Stuart Price (Take That ‘Progress’, Madonna ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’) and Jeff Lynne (ELO, Paul McCartney ‘Flaming Pie’).

‘III’ is the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Progress’, which became the fastest selling album of the century and the second fastest selling album of all time - shifting more than 235,000 copies in just one day!

In their quarter of a century in the limelight, Take That have had eight number one albums, 15 number one single and sold over 30 million records.

The ‘III’ track-listing is as follows:
