Sam Smith: 'Tinder Is Ruining Romance'
He slams the mobile app backstage at V Festival
Sam Smith has hit out at matchmaking mobile app Tinder saying it’s “ruining romance.”
Speaking to Entertainment NOW! backstage at V Festival, the ‘Stay with Me’ singer said he’d never use the application.
“Sorry, no offence to anyone who goes on Tinder I think it’s ruining romance,” Sam said. “We’re losing the art of conversation and being able to go and speak to people and you’re ‘swiping’ people.”
He continued: “From my experience the most beautiful in my life that I’ve lived that I’ve been on dates with are the dumbest, so why would I swipe people that aren’t attractive when I could fall in love with them? Stop Tinder and Grindr!”
