Sam Faiers sparks debate after holding her son ‘incorrectly’ in a baby carrier

The reality star received some harsh criticism

Former TOWIE star Sam Faiers has sparked a debate and come under fire from cruel internet trolls after posting a photo to Instagram.

The mum-of-one posed for the snap as she held her sleeping son Paul in a baby carrier during a family walk at the weekend.

However, immediately after posting the snap, the reality star found herself in receiving abuse for 'carrying her baby incorrectly'.

One user said 'A baby should never be in a pram suit when in a carrier as they can overheat' with another saying 'Baby should be facing mummy, forward facing means their legs dangle and it's not good for their hips'.

The comments didn't end there. One user said 'You’re doing it all wrong!'. With another writing ‘Baby shouldn’t be facing out till they are older’.

Despite the negative comments, Sam's fans and other mums were quick to jump to her defence.

One fellow mum said 'For God sake stop being so horrible to her she loves her son and wouldn't do anything to hurt him so stop slagging her off for everything she does'.

Another user in full support for Sam said 'The baby looks happy and comfortable. FYI having the baby facing you can cause rubbing on their soft skin and blisters. Find what suits and don't judge others!'

Despite the criticism, proud mum Sam seemingly didn't let it affect her and continues to post super cute pictures.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time the former CBB star has been targeted by cruel internet trolls for her parenting skills.

When baby Paul was just four-months-old, Sam posted a snap on holiday of herself breastfeeding. Despite most of the comments being incredibly supportive for the new mum, she also received some abuse for the snap.

The 25-year-old was also forced to defend her baby’s name after announcing the news shortly after giving birth.

Sam gave birth to baby Paul on 29th December 2015 with her partner Paul Knightley.

We think she’s doing a great job!
