Proudly showing off her baby bump, we spoke to a radiant Sam Bailey at the Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards in London last night.
36-year-old Sam broke the exciting news last week that she and her husband Craig Pearson are expecting their third child together this year.
The 2013 X Factor champion told Entertainment NOW! that the pregnancy cravings are already kicking in!
“I’m lethargic and hungry even though I’ve just eaten a McDonalds – don’t know why that is!” she laughed.
“But yes I’ve got a craving for raspberries and strawberries and strawberry split lollies so I’ve very excited about eating lots of them in the near future!”
The former prison officer also revealed that her pregnancy has had a mixed reaction from people three months on from her X Factor win.
She explained: “I’ve had quite a lot of support but at the same time I’ve saying that’s my career over. The majority of women out there do want to work when they’ve had babies.”
Sam also revealed that she’s yet to speak directly to her record label boss Simon Cowell about the pregnancy but Sharon Osbourne has been a pillar of strength.
