Salma Hayek eats an insect and shares video on Instagram - WATCH!

Salma Hayek has grossed out her Instagram followers by posting a video of herself munching on a cricket.
The 48-year-old Mexican-American actress recently said in an interview that insects are the “future of food” and proved her point by devouring a bug.
The Instagram video opens with Salma opening her mouth to reveal the sizable insect before she crunches on it without flinching and tells the camera: "These are crickets from Mexico, from Oaxaca, and they are eaten..."
She then shared a photo of her protein rich meal, writing: “Close-up of the crickets."
Salma isn’t the first A-list star to admit they’ve eaten bugs. Divergent actress Shailene Woodley says she’s eaten a variety of them.
"I've eaten ants and that was great. And June bugs, that was great," she told Nylon magazine. "I think the future of food is in insects, so we'll see what happens."
