Deadpool 2 actor Ryan Reynolds has recently revealed how he tried to get One Direction to reunite. Speaking about some tweets he posted a couple of years ago, Ryan explained he wanted One Direction to reunite with Zayn Malik, after a fan asked him how sad he was after Zayn left.
Speaking to Magic Radio Ryan was then asked if he considered himself a "Directioner" to which he replied, "Oh yeah! I'm a full 'Directioner'." He went on to explain how he likes and appreciates Zayn and the other members of One Direction. Watch the full interview below.
Back in 2015 Ryan responded to the tweet asking about Zayn, saying that it was like 'Taylor Swift leaving Taylor Swift'.
Ryan even decided to tweet the former President of the United States, Barak Obama about Zayn saying 'Mr. President: Is there a sustainable, long term plan for carbon reduction? And if so, why would Zayn just leave?'
We never knew that One Direction had such a big fan in the shape of Ryan Reynolds! However, when pressed on who his favourite member of the boy band is, he said that he likes "all of them" and he liked that they were all doing "their own thing".

During the interview Ryan also revealed how he managed to get music icon Celine Dion to be involved with Deadpool 2 and what it was like having his children on set with him. Speaking about shooting the music video for 'Ashes' with Celine Dion he said, "I think it was the most fun I’ve ever had shooting anything in my life, was shooting a music video with Celine Dion, because I’m Canadian, she’s Canadian. It was like dreams come true, they really do."
