A Royal Screening for 'A Royal Night Out'
The Queen has attended a preview screening of 'A Royal Night Out', she even bought her world-famous corgis with her!
The film, starring Emily Watson as Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and Rupert Everett as King George is inspired by true events on the night of VE Day 1945.
The two teenage princesses, Margaret (Bel Powley) and Elizabeth (Sarah Gadon) our future queen are allowed out that night to join in the celebrations. This is the first time they are allow to mingle with the crowds of London incognito.
'A Royal Night Out' is a heart-warming tale of the Queen witnessing the energy and spirit on VE Day 1945. It is released on the 15th May 2015 marking the 70th anniversary of VE Day this year.
