Robin Williams stops Disney using his voice after his death

Any Aladdin sequels will be put on halt

The comic, Robin Williams, has apparently stopped Disney from using his voice in any new Aladdin films for 25 years.

He was loved for his role as the Genie and was apparently so witty in the recording booth that there was lots of extra material.

But in his will he’s apparently made it clear that these recordings can’t be used for another 25 years. It means that another Aladdin sequel is put on halt, but it protects his family from incurring estate penalties from posthumous earnings.

A Disney executive said the actor often made '30 jokes a minute' when recording but now it'll all 'remain in the vaults'.

The actor took his own life in August 2014.
