He cites a hectic schedule and his recent baby news

Robbie Williams has confirmed that he WON’T be joining Take That on their new album and tour.

The 40-year-old idol, who announced on Monday that his wife Ayda is expecting their second baby, claims his schedule is too hectic to join Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard.

“Logistically, I can’t do it. I have the tour and I’m going to be a dad again,” Robbie explained.

Robbie kicked off his sprawling 49-date The Swing Tour Live jaunt in Budapest last week and doesn’t wrap it up until late September.

Gary Barlow has previously stated that Take That will be spending much of 2014 recording the follow-up to the 2.8million selling ‘Progress’.

The good news is that Robbie hasn’t ruled himself out of a Take That return or the odd guest appearance.

“It doesn’t mean to say I won’t join in along the way,” Robbie added. “Whatever happens, I am absolutely going to be in Take That - I love being in Take That.”
