The animated jungle adventure Rio 2 is now out in cinemas and we were lucky enough to catch up with the leading actress, Anne Hathaway.

The talented star lends her voice to Jewel, a female Spix's macaw who with her family leave the domesticated life in Rio de Janeiro for the Amazon rainforest.

We quizzed Anne Hathaway on working with American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars who voices the part of Roberto, Jewel's childhood friend.

Although she doesn't have her own kids, Anne Hathaway is very keen for her friend's little boy to see her new film.

This musical animation has an entertaining soundtrack including original music and some Brazilian artists, so we asked Anne Hathaway whether she ever had a temptation to be a pop star herself after she was offered record deals following her stunning performance in Les Mis.

Being famous has its downsides as the star explains. After a recent trip to a Miami beach she and her husband Adam Shulman escaped hidden behind towels following the paps getting out of hand and knocking over kids to get photos of the couple.
