Ricky Gervais: 'Muppets Most Wanted has David Brent Homage!'

Ricky Gervais has told Entertainment NOW! that The Muppets Most Wanted movie features a “cheeky homage” to his character in The Office, David Brent.
Speaking to us in a swanky London hotel room ahead of the premiere last night, 52-year-old Ricky said: “I’ve got a little cheeky homage to it (his David Brent character) for those that know what I’m doing – and those that don’t will just think I’m going bezerk. That was fun.
“I brought him back for Comic Relief last year and I enjoyed that and I wrote some songs and went on the road again – maybe I might film a bit of Brent on the road or a live tour.”
Ricky also spoke to us about his relationship with Muppets villain Constantine The Frog plus Hollywood Royalty Miss Piggy and her beleaguered beau Kermit The Frog opened up about cameos and publicity stunts.
