Pregnant Marion Cotillard breaks her silence on Brad Pitt affair rumours
The actress also announced she's expecting a baby
Actress Marion Cotillard has felt it necessary to break her silence after being accused of having an affair with Brad Pitt.
After the news that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from Brad, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’, Marion was thrown into the spotlight and was accused of having an affair with her Allied co-star.
Now, the 40-year-old has released a heartfelt statement, denying all of the rumours and confirmed she is expecting a baby with her husband Guillaume Canet.

Her statement reads:
“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into. I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiralling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up.
"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need. Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn't distressing.
"And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery.
"Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love, Marion."
The news that Angelina had filed for divorce shocked the showbiz world on Monday 19th September, with reports suggesting the mum-of-six was ‘extremely upset’ over Brad’s parenting methods.
The couple, also known as Brangelina, started dating in 2004 and then married in 2014 They have six children together Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
The Salt actress asked for physical custody of their six children, allowing Brad visitation rights, however she does not want him to have joint physical custody, only joint legal custody.

Since the split, according to People magazine, Brad said "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
