Pop Idol's Michelle McManus announces she's pregnant with first child

Former Pop Idol star Michelle McManus has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child after marrying "true love" Jeff Nimmo.
The Glaswegian singer announced her exciting baby news with a photo on Instagram, which showed her touching her bump with Jeff's arm around her, as they pose together in front of their Christmas tree. So festive and adorable!
The singer wrote excitedly, '🎶 On the 10th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me our very own little baby🎶 Baby Nimmo due early 2020🤰🏻👶🏻😍❤️ @jnim8.'
She's since followed it up with a post thanking her fans for their support. Sharing a word image which read 'Thank you' surrounded by hearts, Michelle wrote, 'We’ve been really overwhelmed by all the love and well wishes sent our way regarding our happy news. Thanks so very much to you all ❤️.'
Michelle got engaged to Jeff Nimmo during a romantic holiday to Tenerife in 2016 and they married in Scotland the following year, after two years of dating.
She was the winner of Pop Idol in 2003 and received a £1 million recording contract to release her debut album, 'The Meaning of Love'.
