The Attitude awards took place in London last night - which saw famous faces like Tulisa, Boy George and Sir Ian McKellen attend the star studded ceremony.

Scissor Sisters singer Ana Matronic hosted the event this year at the Banqueting House, organised by the gay magazine.

Winning the title of sexiest man was One Direction's Liam Payne - who wasn't there to pick up the award!

The singer didn't give a reason for his absence but tweeted to say he was gutted to miss out.

Among the winners were also Years and Years who won the award for Album Of The Year with 'Communion'.

Dame Vivienne Westwood was this year's style hero and the first Icon award went to Yoko Ono.

The late fashion designer Alexander McQueen was honoured with the legend status and the greatest moment of the year was judged to be when Ireland voted yes to gay marriage.
