Noel Edmonds under fire for blaming man’s cancer on his ‘negative attitude’

Twitter is outraged

Deal or No Deal host Noel Edmonds has angered Twitter users after blaming a man’s cancer on his negative attitude.

In what seemed to be a paid promotional campaign, Noel tweeted a picture of a box claiming it helps people with the disease. The host captioned the snap with ‘A simple box that slows ageing, reduces pain, lifts depression and stress and tackles cancer. Yep tackles cancer!’

However one twitter user, who is a cancer sufferer himself, was clearly angered by his tweet claiming ‘this type of quackery should be illegal if it isn’t already’. Twitter user @VaunEarl then wrote ‘I think Noel Edmonds should stick to what he’s good at’.

Unbelievably, Noel then decided to reply to the man leaving Twitter in shock at his message. He wrote ‘Scientific fact-disease is caused by negative energy. Is it possible your ill health is caused by your negative attitude? #explore’.

Of course, this message didn’t go down well with the man. He immediately replied with an angry message reading ‘Wow! How do you know I have a negative attitude. You have no idea who I am. #patronising #cancer’

Unsurprisingly the rest of the Twitter world was also angered by his messages and tweeted their feelings towards him.

One angry user also pointed out how much the TV presenter tweets about the product in question, sarcastically asking if he is 'sponsored'.

Noel is yet to comment further on the situation.
