Nicole Scherzinger: 'I Formed One Direction… Now I Buy Their Merchandise!'
She jokes about wanting a cut from the 1D boys
Nicole Scherzinger has joked that she can’t believe she buys One Direction merchandise despite that fact she had a pivotal role in forming the band!
Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis all auditioned individually for The X Factor back in 2010 but at boot camp guest judge Nicole suggested to Simon Cowell that they should be put into the next round as a group.
One Direction havegone on to become the biggest boyband on the planet and in a new interview with heat, Nicole has joked that she wants something back from the boys.
“I still can’t believe I put together the group but I’m at Walmart (US superstore) buying One Direction bags for my nieces,” Nicole laughed.
“Something is wrong with this picture! Can some of you guys (One Direction) please send me One Direction goodies?! Not only do I not get a cut but now I’m buying bags for my nieces with the boys’ faces on it. I was like ‘what?!’”
Elsewhere in the hilarious interview, Nicole talked about having hairy legs growing up, performing at her cousin’s wedding and picking up the English accent.
