Tom Peters admitted he liked to dress like a puppy
A man who admitted to living as a puppy in his spare time has shocked viewers on This Morning.
Tom Peters, a technician, sat on the floor of the studio in a latex dog suit while his ex-fiancée Rachel Watson sat on the sofa holding a lead. The appearance was to promote Channel 4 documentary The Secret Life of Pups.
Tom explained that he bought a costume from the internet and it’s been his alter-ego ever since, allowing him to escape from the stresses of human life.
He told Phillip and Holly, “The whole point behind puppy play is escapism, to get away from money and the hectic lifestyle we have these days” and confessed that he hopes to break the perception of the practise being ‘seedy’.

The hosts struggled to keep a straight face and at one point Phillip pointed out that he’s much bigger than an actual puppy.
Tom, who goes by the dog name of Spot, replied “We’re still cute and innocent really” jokingly adding that “we’re house trained”.
He further revealed that while he uses the toilet like a human, he often eats his dinner out of a dog bowl.
He also has a handler, who Tom describes as being like a soulmate, though it’s caused tension between handler Colin and his ex-girlfriend.
