To celebrate 40 years since its release 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' will be shown in cinemas around the UK for one day only.

This October be prepared to dress up and sing-a-long to the special edition of the film. The screening will be accompanied by a specially filmed, exclusive, introduction from Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and John Cleese.

This is the first time that a sing-a-long version of this film has been released, but the format has been hugely successful in the past with 'Frozen', 'Mamma Mia' and 'The Sound of Music' all being converted to what is basically a mass-karaoke session!

To accompany this limited showing Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will also be releasing a Monty Python and the Holy Grail: 40th anniversary edition on Blu-ray this autumn.

'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' will be shown at around 500 cinemas across the country on Wednesday 14th October 2015.
