These days Miley Cyrus is a very popular pop star, with hits such as 'Wrecking Ball' and 'Malibu', however back in the day, she started out as an actress playing the part of Miley Stewart in the TV series, Hannah Montana.

Now, a decade after the feature film, Hannah Montana: The Movie was released, Miley Cyrus has been posting some rather mysterious social posts, causing many fans to think that Hannah Montana could be set for a revival.

Her latest set of Instagram Stories show the pop star singing some hits from High School Musical, and posing with some Disney characters at the popular theme park. What could this mean?

Fans have been quick to take to social media, leaving comments such as, 'There was nothing better than watching HSM2 and looking for Miley in the end scene just because its miley and she can stand there and do nothing and make any scene better ❤️'. sic

Another said, 'Childhood memories all over again', with a third saying, 'You also helped shape that generation!!'. These posts come just a few days after Miley appeared to channel her inner Hannah Montana, revealing a new hairstyle, similar to her former character's.

Now take a look at other singers who don't use their real names:

In February this year, Liam Hemsworth confirmed Miley would be taking his name, after the couple married late last year. The Australian actor, best known for his work in the Hunger Games movies told American TV hosts Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa, “She'll still be obviously known as Miley Cyrus but she took my name which is great.

“That was honestly one of the best things about it. I didn't ask her to take my name but she was like, ‘no, of course I'm taking your name’."
