Melissa McCarthey has told us she would do “any movie at any time” with Miranda Hart.

Speaking to In:Demand at the premiere of their movie Spy in London’s Leicester Square, Melissa was full of nothing but praise for her co-star.

Asked whether there will be more movies, Melissa said: “Oh my god I hope so! I will do anything at any time with Miranda Hart.

“I love it. I want her to deliver me as a baby in Hollywood.”

Hitting UK cinemas on Friday 5th June, Spy stars Melissa as Susan Cooper – an unassuming, desk-bound CIA analyst, and unsung hero behind the agency's most dangerous missions.

Also starring Jason Statham, Jude Law, Rose Byrne, Peter Serafinowicz, 50 Cent and Miranda, the movie has been met with rave reviews from critics.

Director Paul Feig told us what led him cast Miranda who is largely unknown to American audiences:

Melissa also opened up about making movies with “real women” and told us that the upcoming all-female Ghostbusters movie was going to be “pretty wild”.
